Join us for a special virtual event on 7th July 2020 between 13:00 – 14:30 CEST to announce the winning innovative ideas from the Reboot Health and Wellbeing Challenge, and to hear from WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and other experts on the future of young people’s health and wellbeing.
Over one million young people die each year from preventable causes. Backed by innovative thinking and the technological revolution, together we can solve these issues. It’s time to unleash our creativity and innovative spirit to reboot young people’s health and wellbeing.
In March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO), supported by the UN Office of Information and Communications Technology (UN-OICT), UNAIDS, the World Food Programme (WFP) and UNICEF launched Reboot Health & Wellbeing – Keeping Young People Safe, inspiring young people from around the world to develop solutions to one of the most urgent health challenges for the next decade: Keeping young people safe.
140 ideas were submitted from around the world, covering important issues such as mental health, education, information empowerment, sexual health, and drug abuse.
The public have had their say, the expert panel has evaluated submissions, and now it’s time to announce the winners. Join our digital event on July 7 where we will announce the winning ideas. You’ll also have the chance to explore the unique health problems young people face and solutions to address them.
It’s time to #RebootYouthHealth
