Colorado Gov. Jared Polis got a coronavirus test during a public event Monday.
Polis said he wanted to show people how easy it was.
A medical technician wearing a mask, face shield, gloves and a gown, stuck a swab up the governor’s nose to collect the sample.
“Feels like a little tingle,” Polis said.
He said essential workers, such as first responders, government workers and grocery store employees should all get tested.
The Democrat also urged Colorado cities to open up sidewalks, parking lots and streets for outdoor dining at restaurants.
