CDC and the Making Dialysis Safer for Patients Coalition invite you to join a webinar reviewing strategies for optimizing antibiotic use in outpatient hemodialysis facilities. While antibiotic use is necessary in the outpatient hemodialysis setting, as patients on hemodialysis are at increased risk for infections and sepsis, implementing effective strategies to optimize prescribing practices and align them with evidence-based recommendations for diagnosis and management can decrease adverse events and improve infection cure rates and patient outcomes.
