What our Governor is not getting is that the proactive reach out is NOT happening. The problem is that elders aren’t able to figure it out on their own. Their doctors offices aren’t calling them and making them appointments..emailing them a link doesn’t cut it. Having them having to constantly check sites for appointments does not work for the elderly. Luckily my mom had me to figure it out, sadly that’s not the case for many. Having said that, I totally support the tough job that our Governor and state is doing. It’s an oversight that I don’t think he is seeing.
And then there are people who are chronically ill who aren’t 60+….
