In recognition of International Women and Girl’s Day in 2020, CDC assembled an expert panel to discuss how violence, particularly gender-based violence, affects HIV risk among women and adolescent girls globally. The panel represented the collaborative nature of the strong partnerships required to address HIV and the prevention of gender-based violence on a global stage.
