Cervical cancer advocates and survivors from all regions of the world share in this short documentary their stories to help raise awareness of the disease. They launched on November 17, 2020, the Global Strategy to Accelerate the Elimination of Cervical Cancer. This event marked the world’s first-ever commitment to eliminate a cancer.
It could indeed be the first cancer ever in the world to be eliminated if, by 2030:
90% of girls are vaccinated,
70% of women are screened,
90% of women with cervical disease receive treatment.
Together, we can create a cervical cancer-free world.
