Governor Polis Signs Bill To Support Military Families (HB20-1326)


Gov. Jared Polis signs HB20-1326, Create Occupational Credential Portability Program at the Colorado State Capitol on Thursday, June 25, 2020 alongside Lieutenant Governor Dianne Primavera, Rep. Kevin Van Winkle, and Rep. Shannon Bird.

The bill relocates the existing occupational credential exemption to expand portability of state licenses, registrations and certifications for regulated professions, and provides that newly-located military spouses may apply for a temporary license, certification or registration in a regulated profession if they hold such a credential from another state.
