The Republic of Korea was one of the first countries in the world to be heavily affected by COVID-19. In response to the outbreak in the country, the government implemented a robust, nationwide response, built on intensive testing and contact tracing, medical care for affected people and a clear public information campaign. This response, drawing on lessons learned from past outbreaks and the advice and support of WHO, brought the epidemic under control and demonstrated the importance of adherence to proven public health measures. This video tells the story of the Republic of Korea’s response: www.who.int/COVID-19

  1. I’m so glad that Korea is willing to offer what they know and learned on how to deal with Covid with the rest of the international community.
Unfortunately, not every country will embrace this helping hand because unlike Korea, other countries have citizens that focus more on their own wants and needs versus being a team player in order to diminish the presence of Covid.
Still, I’m glad that Korea is doing better and that they have found a solution that many will appreciate!
    👏

  2. This is total nonsense!
Covid-19 is not worse than a mild flu, and the WHO knows it.
Every year people die of the flu, and at the moment nobody dies of it? That’s because now they are called Covid-19 deaths!
People, do a little bit of searching on this topic and make some calculations, and you’ll know that this is a Scam-demic!

  3. Another criminal organization that should be all locked up! Maybe that’s why USA pulled their funding? & why is the head of the WHO not a doctor!? But a cross dressing alcoholic? This has been proven but pushed under the rug like most truths!
“My name is Joe Biden & I forget this message”

  4. S.Korea gains public trust from its citizen because the government showed support to its healthcare. And that’s what I believe. 👏👍
