Ensuring equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines is more critical than ever to address the evolving pandemic. If some parts of the world eliminate the virus while it spreads widely in other areas, we all run the risk of stronger strains evolving. We’re only safe when everyone is safe.

Logic says the wealthiest countries should vaccinate their populations before vaccinating the rest of the world.
After all it is wealth generated in wealthy countries that allowed the vaccine to be developed, produced and distributed.
We will be in a better position to help less developed countries when our economies are back in business.
On a flight when the oxygen mask falls you put yours on before helping others, the same should apply with the vaccine.

I guess this pandemic can change our bad habits and teach us more to be aware of viruses that can put us in a serious dilemma, mostly in the elimination or reducing the number of any kind of infection in the future.
